100% Bursaries For Talented Children With Cumnor House School
Cumnor House Sussex is offering two fully-funded bursary scholarships to talented children who are academically gifted or show outstanding potential in sport, music, art or drama. Applicants must currently attend state primary school and be entering Year 4 (aged 8+) in September 2018.
The bursary covers 100% of independent school fees for ten years, from Year 4 (age 8+) through to Year 8 (age 13+) and thereafter, at one of Cumnor’s independent senior school partners from Year 9 (age 13+) to Year 13 (age 18). The thirteen senior school partners are Ardingly, Benenden, Eastbourne College, Hurstpierpoint College, King’s Canterbury, Lancing, Mayfield, Radley, Roedean, St. Mary’s Ascot, Sevenoaks, Tonbridge and Worth.
Selection involves parents completing a Registration form and a means-tested Bursary form. Children whose families qualify for support are invited to attend an ‘experience day’ when they will be fully immersed into Cumnor life. During the course of their day they will be interviewed, undergo some academic tests and be given the opportunity to show their talents in sport, music, art or drama, as appropriate. The family will be visited by a staff member to ensure that appropriate on-going support is in place for the family as a whole.
Places are offered depending on the particular degree of promise shown by children. The deadline for applications for entry into Year 4 at September 2018 is 30 th April 2018. To find out more, visit https://cumnor.co.uk/admissions/bursaries/
