Hastings Beatles Day will present many acts on three stages performing the music of this world famous and much loved band in many different styles of music with performers of all ages.
There will be a number of new features at the event including a children’s circle run by live artistes teaching Beatles songs. Musicians, dancers and choreographers, will form the largest get together of professional and amateur performers in one place in Hastings during the year.
With your entry wristband you will be able to come and go as you please throughout the day. The new team running the event jointly with The Sara Lee Trust look forward to seeing you there as we ‘Come Together!’
The Sara Lee Trust was set up in memory of Sara Lee who died aged 32 from cancer. It was Sara’s vision as a result of using complementary therapies during her two year battle with cancer, that a Trust be set up, to provide therapies free of charge, to people in Hastings and Rother, affected by cancer and other life threatening illnesses.
Sara’s parents with the support of her friends carried out her wish and the Trust now delivers around 100 hours of therapy care per week to local people, including patients of St Michael’s Hospice and The Rye, Winchelsea and District Memorial Hospital where we have treatment rooms and provide care on the wards. We also provide therapy at the Sara Lee Therapy Centre in Bexhill, and in the community by visiting patients in their own homes.
