Charity night at the dogs in aid of Cystic Fibrosis Trust
The local community is invited to join the Cystic Fibrosis Trust for a fun charity night at Brighton & Hove Greyhound Stadium on Thursday 26th September, in aid of Chandlers Building Supplies Cystic Fibrosis Appeal
The Chandlers £50k Challenge is aiming to raise £50,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust in honour of Chandlers’ employee Rob Sadler, a Cystic Fibrosis sufferer himself. Rob will be having a double celebration during 2013, marking not only 30 years of Chandlers’ employment, but more significantly his 50th birthday; those with Cystic Fibrosis are not expected to live beyond their 30s.
Tickets for the evening cost £25, which includes entrance to the stadium, a three-course meal, a race card and a donation to the Chandlers £50k Challenge appeal. Tables are for four or six people so it’s a great chance to have a night out with friends and raise money for a fantastic charity at the same time.
There is also the opportunity for local businesses to sponsor a race, which means that a race name will personalised to the company (subject to approval), and a representative from the company will be invited to present the trophy to the trainer or owner of the winning greyhound and receive a colour photograph.
The local business will also be given trackside advertising banner space on the night and a wrapped bottle of wine, all for £300. All proceeds will be donated to the Chandlers £50k Challenge.
Richard Skinner, Commercial Director at Chandlers commented:
“An evening at the dogs is always a fun night out and we hope that the local community will join us and help us to raise money for our Cystic Fibrosis Trust appeal.”
