Swim The Distance It Takes To Travel Between The Mid Sussex Leisure Centres!

Throughout April, May and June Places for People Leisure centres, The Triangle in Burgess Hill, The Dolphin in Haywards Heath and Kings Centre in East Grinstead are challenging customers to swim 24.87km distance between the Mid Sussex leisure centres using their SWIMTAG wristband technology.

To join the challenge you will need to pick up a SWIMTAG wristband from the leisure centre reception, and once you have completed your first swim you can then register online at www.swimtag.net and then join the Mid Sussex Challenge. Use of Swimtag is FREE for leisure centre members and £1 per use to non-members.

Any registered swimmers who can complete the 24.87 km by the 31st May will be entered into a draw to win a SONY 4GB WATERPROOF MP3 player.

Contract Swim Development Manager Neil Williams said “Swimtag is a fantastic smart tool at our pools, which will allow swimmers to monitor their technique and improve their ability. We will be running a number of fun swim challenges using this technology, which we hope will encourage people to use their local pools more.”
